MultiRIP Full Version vs. MultiRIP Lite Version

MultiRIP has two versions of the hybrid software depending on what applications the Apparel Decorator will want to produce. The MultiRIP Full version allows the Apparel Decorator to print sublimation transfers, inkjet heat transfers and halftones for screen printing film positive media. The Full version is recommended for any Apparel Decorator that either outsources screen printing or does it in-house. The MultiRIP Lite version only allows the Apparel Deocrator to print only sublimation transfers and inkjet heat transfers (i.e. no halftone printing).

Epson 1400 13" Wide Printer (6-Channels) Small Format version

MultiRIP 1400 is the ideal hybrid solution for any screen printer that wants to do sublimation or inkjet transfers, but also needs a printer to create halftone film positives. MultiRIP 1400 comes with eight different types of film postive media built in, seven different types of sublimation media and seven different heat transfer paper settings. The Epson 1400 printer is only a six ink channel. A full hybrid printer requires a minimum of eight channels to run two different CMYK inksets. However, MultiRIP allows an Apparel Decorator to set it up the Epson 1400 printer as a hybrid, dual purpose printer in the following inks:
* CMYK Channels - choose between SubliJet IQ (sublimation ink), ArTainium (sublimation ink), ChromaBlast (light heat transfer) or MultINK (light & dark heat transfer ink)
* LcLm Channels - both run Black MultINK for screen printing film postives

Because the Epson 1400 printer is only a six-channel printer, it will not allow the user to print all three types of applications (sublimation, inkjet transfer and film positives). The user will have to choose between loading either a sublimation ink or a heat transfer ink in the CMYK channels. The other two channels will always have black MultINK in them for printing film positives. MultiRIP 1400 only comes in the Full version of the software.

Epson R1800 13" Wide Printer (8-Channels) Small Format version

MultiRIP 1800 is the perfect hybrid solution for an entry level Apparel Decorator that wants to do sublimation transfers, inkjet transfers and halftones for screen printing film positive media all from the same one printer. MultiRIP 4800 / 4880 is the ideal hybrid solution for an Apparel Decorator wanting to setup a production shop to do sublimation transfers, inkjet transfers and halftones for screen printing film positive media all from the same one printer. MultiRIP 4800 / 4880 comes with eight different types of film postive media built in, seven different types of sublimation media and seven different heat transfer paper settings.
