How to Use and Create Predefined Settings
in the Print From Application in the
MultiRIP GP dtg RIP Software

The Print From Application in MultiRIP GP comes with the ability to use or create predefined RIP settings to make it easier to print.  The user will have the option of using one of the existing predefined settings that come built into MultiRIP GP or the user can create their own settings based on there specific needs.  The Print From Application allows the user to change / save the existing settings, create new predefined settings, delete existing settings and export / import the settings between different computers.  Below are the instructions for using and creating these predefined settings found in the top right corner of the Print From Application in MultiRIP GP dtg RIP software program.

Written Instructions

1. Open the MultiRIP GP Interface.  Click on the File Menu and click on the Create Print Job option
      


2. The Print From Application window will open up.  In the top right corner of the Print From Application, you can choose one of the pre-defined settings from the drop-down.  By selecting an existing predefined setting, you will automatically be changing some of the selections in the Print From application (i.e.  which printer to use, platen size, background color, media type, color and white ink resolutions, # of passes,…). 



3.  If User want to create their own setting, the can either use an existing predefined settings and make changes in the appropriate tabs as desired.  Then click on the Settings menu.  To save the changes to the settings under the same name already listed, click "Save Current Settings" option.

If the User wants to save the changes under a new name, then click "Save Current Settings As" option.



A new window will open up and allow the User to type in the name the settings will be saved as.



4.  The User also has the ability to delete and export / import the predefined settings from one computer to another.  To do this, click on the Settings menu and choose "Manage Settings" option.



A new window will open up.  This screen will allow the User to select the existing settings and then choose whether to delete or export the setting.  This screen is also where the user will import settings from another computer.
